Haiti Granted TPS Status

USCIS announced today that Haiti has been designated for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).  TPS will allow eligible Haitians the an 18-month period of authorized stay and work authorization.  Individuals must register with USCIS with the appropriate forms and fees.  The registration period will run for 180 days and likely begin sometime next week.
